Any adult (At least 18 years) citizen of Bangladesh, institutions and statutory body can open portfolio account with CAPM Advisory Limited.
Investor will take the investment decisions in case of Investor’s Discretionary Account (IDA) scheme holder, and in case of Portfolio Manager’s Discretionary Account (PMDA) holder, CAPM Advisory Limited will take investment decisions on behalf of its clients.
It will depend on BSEC rules and CAPM Advisory Limited’s margin policy.
Any IDA account holder place his order through physically submitting the order slip to customer desks or by authenticated email, fax or SMS.
An investor can know the status of his portfolio by daily status report sent by CAPM Advisory Limited through email. Reports can also be received through SMS and login by webmail through CAPM Advisory Limited website.
In order to protect your equity position, your portfolio Manager Calls additional margin deposit in case your equity falls below a certain percentage (the percentage changes from time to time) of your debt obligation to maintain the stipulated debt to equity ratio. Such call is commonly known as “Margin Call”.
Yes, you can make additional deposits at any time into your account. Additional deposits will increase your equity position and purchasing power.
Yes, you will be able to withdraw cash to the extent at which, after such withdrawal, your equity remains at 100% of your debt obligation, also, the cash withdrawal shall not drive your equity position below the minimum investment amount.
For IDA Clients, Yes You can. But For PMDA Clients No, you will not be able to do so; all your securities will be under lien with your Portfolio Manager.
Yes, you can execute trade in both DSE and CSE, provided that your preferred broker is a member of both DSE and CSE.
